Rosedale Livestock Partnership is a highly regarded, family-owned grazing business managing approx. 4,800 acres across the Blayney district in Central West NSW. The business includes a well-developed pasture and cropping program-used for both grazing and fodder production-with a strong focus on soil health, sustainability, and efficiency.

About the Role

As Working Farm Manager, you'll take ownership of cropping and pasture operations, while also playing an integral role across livestock management when needed. You'll work alongside the managing partner in both strategic decision-making and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement pasture improvement and cropping programs
    * Operate and maintain modern machinery
    * Seasonal planning and paddock reporting
    * Weed and pest control
    * Assist with livestock operations and step in as Livestock Manager when required
    * Supervise contractors and seasonal workers
    * Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing improvements

You'll ideally bring:

  • Solid knowledge of cropping and pasture systems
    * Machinery operation and maintenance experience (John Deere & GPS ideal)
    * ChemCert and/or understanding of safe chemical use
    * Livestock handling skills and low-stress stockmanship
    * Welding or general mechanical skills
    * Confidence using farm management software or willingness to learn
    * A current driver's licence (HR licence a bonus)
