Northparkes uses multiple mining methods including open pit, sub-level caving and was the first mine in Australia to use the block cave mining method. About the role

This position is within the Service Crew, reporting to the Underground Mining Coordinator. This team supports underground operations across both Production and Development teams.

• Working a 4/3 day shift roster
• 11.25 hrs/day (45 Hrs/week)
• Infrastructure installations
• Service upgrades & installation
• Maintenance activities
• Consumable movements and deliveries
• This is a permanent full-time role based in the Parkes region of NSW

About you

• HR Drivers licence - essential
• Forklift ticket - essential
• Franna crane ticket - desirable
• Must pass a police check
• Ability to obtain a Security licence (UHL)
• Must have a strong work ethic and be safety focussed

This role would suit a practical, Hands-on person who ideally has a strong mechanical aptitude.
