Our client is Kingston Resources Ltd, an ASX listed gold producer that is currently focusing on ongoing development of the Mineral Hill Gold Mine near Condobolin in NSW. Mineral Hill is preparing for a transition to underground mining and are seeking highly skilled and motivated mining professionals to join their team.
The Mine
Mineral Hill is fully owned by Kingston Resources Limited and located approx. 65 km from Condobolin, NSW. Mining gold, silver and copper, underground rehab has commenced in preparation for development kicking off in the next couple of months and production ore scheduled for early next year.
About the role Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, the Loader Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of loaders and tele-remote boggers to transport waste rock and ore within the underground mining environment.
Key responsibilities
Safely operate an LHD (Load Haul Dump machine) to extract and transport waste, ore, backfill, or other materials within the underground mine to haul trucks or surface waste dumps and stockpiles
Keep trucks operating at full efficiency ensuring
Conduct regular equipment inspections and report faults
Perform road works and manage spillage and sump bogging
Maintain high standards of work quality and safety compliance
Identify and escalate opportunities for operational efficiency
Demonstrate strong safety leadership and environmental awareness
About you
Must have underground experience with a minimum of 2+ years underground mining experience
Experience with underground hard rock mining techniques, including watering, scaling, bogging of development headings and production stopes
Experience in tele-remote loader operations
Initiative and a flexible approach to work
A willingness to build a safe and productive work culture with a high focus on quality and the ability to work autonomously
Demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Security Clearance (UHL) or ability to obtain
A valid driver's licence and relevant qualifications
You must have the right to live and work in Australia
