Technician - Instrumentation & Geotechnical

8/6 Roster 12 hour days only | Casual Ongoing Role | Central NSW

Spinifex Recruiting is seeking a Technician - Instrumentation & Geotechnical for our client, a large mining operation in Orange NSW. This position offers stable, ongoing work with fixed hours on an 8/6 roster. It's a great opportunity for someone hands-on, reliable, and keen to build a long-term career in mining.

About the Role:

You'll be part of a small site-based technical team responsible for maintaining and monitoring geotechnical instrumentation. Tasks include:

• Assisting with installation, maintenance, and calibration of monitoring equipment
• Collecting data and checking system performance
• Troubleshooting and repairing field instruments
• Supporting safe and efficient daily operations on site
• Training will be provided, and you'll be working closely with experienced technical staff.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous exposure to mining, civil, or technical maintenance work (preferred)
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to learn
• Practical, hands-on approach to work
• Comfortable working outdoors in a physical role
• Current Driver's Licence and ability to meet site access requirements
