About the Role

This is a diverse role and will suit a hands-on, people-focused Team Manager to lead production operations across mixing, extrusion, drying, coating, packaging, and palletising. You'll be responsible for safety, quality, throughput, labour deployment, and compliance during your shift, while fostering a high-performing and engaged team culture. Site operates 24/5 with 3 x 8.5 hour shifts on a 10 day rotation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead shift operations ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Drive compliance with HACCP, GMP, CCP, and WHS standards.
  • Manage team performance, behaviour, and attendance.
  • Execute production plans and oversee changeovers and sanitation.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs including throughput, waste, and labour.
  • Champion continuous improvement and team engagement.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum Certificate in Food Processing (desirable).
  • Year 12 or above education with supervisory qualifications.
  • 5+ years in a supervisory/leadership role, ideally in food manufacturing.
  • Strong communication, planning, and people management skills.
  • Experience with performance management and operational planning.
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills and attention to detail.
