Spinifex Recruiting are seeking Tailings Technicians for our Mining client in Parkes, NSW

About the Tailings Technician (Cyclone) role:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operation of tailings disposal
• 5/2 roster for at least the first month - may move to a 7/7 roster
• Day shift only, 10 hour days
• Operate and maintain the cyclone tailings deposition including
• Cyclone operation
• Maintenance
• Tailings line spigot changes
• Tailings compaction activities
• General checks
• Monitor site instruments
• General labouring as required
• Loader operation

About the Water Technician role:

• Responsible for general water duties - tailings facilities
• 7/7 roster - dayshift only
• 10 hour days
• Duties include:
• Moving mobile trailer pumps from pond to pond
• Fuelling pumps
• Recording water flows and levels
• Changing out reagents at the water treatment plant

About you:

• Must have a Manual driver's licence
• Must pass a pre-employment medical
• Have a genuine commitment to safety
• Have the ability to follow procedures and have a pro-active attitude
