About the role

You'll oversee multiple construction programs across Queensland, including disaster-affected residential sites from make safes and rectification works to flood-affected material handling, hygienist oversight, waste management and earthworks.

What you'll do:

  • Supervise daily site activities across one or multiple projects
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers
  • Drive HSEQ compliance including inductions, pre-starts, SWMS and audits
  • Lead safe work practices and incident reporting
  • Work closely with Project / Program / Operations leadership to meet KPIs
  • Travel to regional and remote locations as required

You'll bring:

  • Trade qualification in a relevant construction discipline (ideally carpentry or building/construction)
  • Knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction
  • Experience overseeing subcontractors in a leadership capacity
  • Clear communication and a calm, confident approach
  • Flexibility to travel and work a 2:1 roster
