Senior Farm Hand

Job description

This operation is a progressive mixed farming enterprise located in the vibrant Trangie district of Central West NSW. Spanning 11,100 hectares across four properties, the operation produces irrigated cotton, dryland crops, and runs cattle and sheep. The family is known for its innovative approach and strong community engagement.


About the Role
This is a hands-on position where you'll work closely with the owners and existing team. You'll be a key part of a dynamic and efficient team working across all aspects of farming with the opportunity to be involved in livestock production.

Across the four properties, you'll be involved in a variety of tasks including:

  • Broadacre winter cropping and cotton production
  • Operating machinery: sprayers, loader, bulldozer and trucks
  • Machinery and equipment maintenance
  • General farm duties
  • Livestock husbandry (optional)

About You
You're practical, reliable, and thrive in a varied role. You bring:

  • Solid experience in broadacre cropping and large-scale farming
  • Strong machinery operation and maintenance skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
  • A current driver's licence
  • Truck licence desirable, but not essential (potential for licence to form part of training and development)
