The Opportunity

As the Sale Manager, you will be responsible for managing current contracts, maintaining industry relationships, and supporting senior team members. This role requires a solid understanding of livestock and saleyard procedures, proficiency in technology, effective communication skills, and a commitment to problem-solving.

Location

The role is based in Dubbo NSW, and you will be responsible for managing current saleyard contracts in Dubbo, Forbes and Dunedoo.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sale Management: Manage livestock sales, implement advanced technology, and effectively communicate with teams and clients, ensuring seamless operations and reporting to senior staff.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and collaborate within a dynamic team, focusing on training, productivity improvement, and maintaining high morale while demonstrating leadership skills to manage multiple teams.

  • Client Satisfaction and Business Support: Present a professional image, ensuring courteous interactions with clients, implementing work procedures for improved customer experience, and supporting business operations by traveling to gain insights and taking on increased responsibilities. Support State Manager and travel to other selling centres.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Prior exposure to livestock or agriculture industries desirable

  • Strong communication and relationship building skills

  • Knowledge of saleyards and their related processes

  • Willingness to learn processes, software and technology

  • Organised and proficient in time management

  • Natural problem solver with a can do-attitude
