The Location
The Sale Manager role is based in Roma, QLD, with travel required to various saleyards across Queensland and occasional trips to NSW and Victoria.
The Opportunity
The Sale Manager will play a crucial role in managing current contracts, nurturing industry relationships, and supporting future business opportunities. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of WHS policies, livestock and saleyard procedures, and software functionality. The successful candidate will exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills, both within the team and with clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Sale Management: Manage livestock sales, implement technology, communicate with teams and clients, and report to senior staff.
- Team Leadership: Lead and collaborate with a focus on training, safety, productivity, and team morale while managing multiple teams.
- Livestock Handling: Demonstrate and train staff in effective livestock handling and animal welfare techniques.
- Client Satisfaction and Business Support: Present professionally, ensure courteous client interactions, improve customer experience, support business operations, and travel to gain insights.

- Prior exposure to livestock or agriculture industries desirable
