Early works have commenced on the Uungula Wind Farm - a development of 69 wind turbines and associated infrastructure located on Wiradjuri Country, 14 km east of Wellington, NSW, within the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone.
The Opportunity:
The Project Scheduler is responsible for the scheduling function on the Squadron Uungula Wind
Farm Project and will work closely with the project team,suppliers, and contractors to optimise project schedules, monitor progress, and analyse and manage project risk as applied to the schedule.
This residential role will be site based in the Wellington office or on-site at Uungula Wind Farm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedule (IMS) models, incorporating all scope,
- interfaces and performance milestones, and dependencies
- Collaborate with Squadron and contractor teams to establish realistic project timelines and coordination
of project activities - Identify risks, opportunities and constraints in the IMS and project scheduling to optimise project outcomes and propose mitigation strategies where necessary
- Develop and maintain execution schedules and monitor project progress
- Generate regular reports on project schedules, progress, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Required Skills and Experience:
Of key importance are your communication and interpersonal skills and your ability to work closely with contractors and project teams. In addition, high level time management and organisational skills will be critical to your success in this role. Other specific requirements include:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications, a White Card and current Driver's licence
- A minimum of 3 year's project planning/scheduling experience with experience in an owner's organisation essential
- Sound knowledge of Oracle Primavera Cloud (highly desired), Primavera P6 (essential) and Microsoft Project (desired)
- Computer literacy and strong competence with the Microsoft 365 suite of software is fundamental to this role - with particular reference to Excel (extracting and transforming data, reporting, charting, formulas and calculation)
- Experience in conducting schedule variance; Quality/Risk analyses and Critical Path, resource analysis and constructability review and reporting
- Understanding of project cost control, Earned Value Management, and risk management processes
