About the Role

With a strong pipeline of ongoing projects, you'll step into a delivery-focused role overseeing the planning and execution of infrastructure and construction programs across NSW. You'll manage scopes of work, coordinate site teams, and liaise closely with government and commercial clients to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Reporting to the General Manager (NSW) you'll work across multiple active programs, balancing time on-site with office-based planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver disaster recovery and construction programs in regional areas
  • Conduct briefings with government stakeholders and community representatives
  • Develop scopes of work, set KPIs, and monitor delivery outcomes
  • Lead site teams and subcontractors, including pre-starts and coordination
  • Work with internal teams to plan, report, and optimise program performance
  • Provide input to local councils regarding funding opportunities and program design
  • Balance time between on-site delivery and office-based planning/reporting

About You

  • Trade or tertiary qualifications in construction and/or project management
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing construction projects
  • Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial construction
  • Confident communicator with experience engaging with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments

Additional Role Requirements

  • Open to regular regional travel (including short-notice deployments)
  • Based in Newcastle or the Northern Rivers (NSW)
