Program Manager
Job description
Looking for a leadership role where you can actually see the difference your work makes? This is your chance to take the reins of major programs that help communities rebuild, recover and thrive - all while leading a capable, down-to-earth team that genuinely gets things done.
About the company
Our client is a national construction and project delivery business that partners with government and private organisations to deliver projects with purpose. Known for their collaborative culture and genuine commitment to community outcomes, they've built a reputation for delivering quality work and being great people to work with.
About the role
Based in Maroochydore, you'll oversee multiple construction programs across Queensland and take full ownership from tender through to completion. You'll lead a talented group of Project Managers and Contracts Administrators, creating the structure, guidance and accountability that keep programs on track.
You'll work closely with senior leadership and project partners in Brisbane, ensuring every project runs to time, budget and quality expectations. It's a hands-on role with plenty of variety, influence and purpose - ideal for someone who can balance commercial focus with people leadership.
This role will suit someone who leads with confidence and care, holds authority in the room, makes sound decisions under pressure and knows how to keep a team energised and on course.
About you
You're an experienced Program or Project Manager with a strong commercial foundation and the confidence to lead both people and process. You're proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.
You'll bring:
 * Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management or a related field
 * At least five years' experience in a senior leadership or program management role
 * Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator within Tier 2 or Tier 3 construction
 * Solid financial, contractual and stakeholder management skills
 * Clear communication and a calm, confident leadership style
This is a rare opportunity to join a purpose-led organisation, take ownership of a key portfolio and make a genuine impact while enjoying the Sunshine Coast lifestyle.
