Processing Leading Hand

Job description

Some people have the title.
Others are already doing the job without it.

We're open to both.

If you've led crews before, you'll hit the ground running.
If you're ready for that next step, you'll be supported to get there.

About the Operation

Join a well-backed underground base metals operation in regional NSW, currently moving through an exciting restart phase.

With strong investment and a clear plan forward, this is a great time to come on board and be part of shaping a site as it ramps back up.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Keep the plant running efficiently, crushing, grinding and flotation circuits

  • Lead from the front, on the floor, not stuck behind a desk

  • Pick up issues early and deal with them before they impact production

  • Support your crew, answer questions, and lift standards across the shift

  • Work closely with maintenance and metallurgy to drive performance

  • Step into full shift leadership when required

This Role Is Perfect If You're…

  • An experienced Leading Hand who knows how to run a shift

  • OR an operator who's already the go-to person on site

  • Someone who takes ownership, not just instructions

  • Ready to build leadership skills or take them to the next level

What You'll Bring

  • Strong processing plant experience

  • Exposure to crushing, grinding, flotation or similar circuits

  • Leadership capability, formal or informal

  • A safety-first mindset and solid work ethic

Roster & Benefits

  • 7 days on, 7 off, 7 nights on, 7 off

  • 12-hour shifts

  • DIDO with accommodation provided + meals

  • Travel allowance + site benefits

The Opportunity

Whether you're already leading or ready to step into it, this role gives you the chance to own your shift and be recognised for it.
