We are seeking a skilled Civil Plumber (Pipe Layer) to join Ballina Shire Council's Engineering Works team. This ongoing, full-time role is based at the Southern Cross Drive Depot and plays a key part in constructing and maintaining the Shire's water and wastewater utilities.

What you'll do:

• Construct, maintain, and repair water and wastewater infrastructure
• Operate plant and machinery safely
• Provide support and expertise in civil plumbing functions
• Work collaboratively within a team to deliver quality outcomes

What we're looking for:

• Relevant trade qualification
• Experience in civil infrastructure construction and maintenance
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Current Class C driver licence and White Card
• Willingness to work on-call and in confined spaces

Desirable:

• MR licence, confined space certification, traffic control tickets
• Experience mentoring apprentices
