About the Role

As our Payroll Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting a broad range of clients across multiple industries. You'll manage payroll processing across various awards and enterprise agreements, handle payroll-related enquiries, and provide expert advice with accuracy and care.

Every day is different - the payroll function in our business is fast-moving and continually evolving. You'll enjoy the variety and challenges that come with managing multiple payrolls, while ensuring timely and compliant processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end payroll processing for a range of clients and pay companies
  • Interpreting awards and ensuring compliance
  • Responding to payroll queries with a customer-first mindset
  • Providing accurate reporting and record-keeping
  • Supporting the payroll team with general administration and payroll-related tasks

About YOU

You're a people-person with a head for numbers and a love for problem-solving. You bring energy, initiative, and a team-focused attitude to everything you do.

You thrive in a busy, ever-changing environment and are confident juggling multiple tasks and deadlines. Your attention to detail and time management skills ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

You will also have:

  • Previous experience in a payroll or finance support role (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards, and EAs
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid computer skills, particularly with payroll software and Excel
  • A proactive, flexible approach and willingness to learn
