Job description

Current vacancies exist for Open Cut Operators as part of the transition to open pit mining at Mineral Hill Mine, 65km north of Condobolin in NSW. Owned by Kingston Resources, Mineral Hill is building an empowered and collaborative workplace built on a foundation of mutual trust and respect - a workplace that values safety, continuous improvement, innovation and creativity.

All roles are residential, FIFO IS NOT SUPPORTED.

Join our transition to open pit mining at Mineral Hill, commencing early June 2024. Roles available for:

  • Dozer - D8 or D9

  • Excavator - 90t and 50t

  • ROM Loader

  • Grader 14M CAT


  • Competitive hourly rate

  • 12 month contract with option to extend or renew

  • Roster - 7/7 days and nights

  • Transport provided to and from Condobolin to site each shift

  • Residential positions - be home every night or DIDO within the region (capped at 400km each way)

  • Work Environment - a high performing and friendly crew, strong safety focus

  • Training and Development - option for Certificate III in Surface Extraction

Desirable qualifications

  • Previous Open Pit mine site experience preferred, civil/quarry experience will be considered

  • Self-motivated, strong team player

  • VOC or operating tickets

  • Good attitude and willing to learn

Legal Requirements:

  • Current work rights in Australia - Citizen or Permanent resident

  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical and Drug Screen

  • Provide National Police Check (within last 6 months)

  • Provide current Driver's License
