Our client is Kingston Resources Ltd, an ASX listed gold producer that is currently focusing on ongoing development of the Mineral Hill Gold Mine near Condobolin in NSW. Mineral Hill is preparing for a transition to underground mining and are seeking highly skilled and motivated mining professionals to join their team.
The Mine
Mineral Hill is fully owned by Kingston Resources Limited and located approx. 65 km from Condobolin, NSW. Mining gold, silver and copper, underground rehab has commenced in preparation for development kicking off in the next couple of months and production ore scheduled for early next year.
About the role Reporting to the Underground Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the mining team to achieve the daily targets while working closely with the underground operators, ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
Key responsibilities
Be organized and prepared to undertake all assigned tasks by the Supervisor
Demonstration of excellent housekeeping standards
Delivery and pick up of equipment and stores items needed for the smooth operation of the underground mine
Assisting Jumbo Operators with bolting and meshing as required
Set up headings with bolts and mesh, and assist service crew when possible
Ensure all pre-starts are completed and arrive fit for work for all rostered days
About you
Previous underground mining or nipper experience
Security Clearance (UHL) or ability to obtain
Focus on safety and ability to work safely and efficiently
Solid understanding of underground equipment, tools and safety practices
Experience operating an Integrated Tool Carrier
Working at Heights and Confined Space are desirable

Current manual driver's licence required
