Our mining client is looking for a Mill Technician to join the processing team at Lake Cowal, West Wyalong.

About the role

As a gold producing mine, the position is an entry level operating role learning all aspects of the mill processes on a 7/7 roster day/night 12hr shift.

Residential role within the local area. Bus is available from West Wyalong.

About the role

Your day will include a variety of tasks, and is not limited to:

• Operation of telehandler, skid steer and loader
• Checking belts
• Cleaning
• Escorting vehicles
• Learning all areas and processes within the mill

About you

• Be physically fit - lots of stair climbing.
• Be comfortable with heights.
• Forklift/loader experience - highly desirable.
• Are highly committed to safety
• Current manual drivers' licence
• Enthusiastic and positive work ethic
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
• Ability to pass a Police Check
• Proof of the right to live and work in Australia.
