Our client is Kingston Resources Ltd, an ASX listed gold producer that is currently focusing on ongoing development of the Mineral Hill Gold Mine near Condobolin in NSW. Mineral Hill is transitioning to underground mining and are seeking highly skilled and motivated mining professionals to join their team.
The Mine
Mineral Hill is fully owned by Kingston Resources Limited and located approx. 65 km from Condobolin, NSW. Mining gold, silver and copper, underground rehab has commenced in preparation for development kicking off in the next couple of months and production ore scheduled for early next year.
About the role:
The Metallurgical Technician will work a 4/3 or and 8/6 roster and will be responsible for supporting the site Metallurgical team to ensure optimal operation of the processing plant. This includes plant and laboratory based work conducting laboratory tests and assays as required.
Key Responsibilities
Operation and maintenance of OSA for slurry monitoring (Courier 5i SL)
Sample collection and testing in the plant
Liaison with process plant operators to optimise plant operation
General laboratory work including sample preparation and wet chemical analayses
Acid digestions and use of Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry
About you
Prior experience in a similar role in mining is essential with a relevant qualification desirable.
laboratory experience including use of AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer
Experience in the operation of On-stream Analysers for chemical characterisation of slurry
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office suites
Strong safety culture and awareness
