The Role
As the Maintenance Manager, you will:
Coordinate and prioritise maintenance activities across departments, balancing workload and seasonal demand.
Engage and oversee specialist trades and contractors (electrical, refrigeration, fabrication, etc.).
Lead routine preventative maintenance on cellar equipment, pumps, valves, and fittings.
Respond to breakdowns, carry out repairs, and commission equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
Supervise and mentor the Maintenance and Site Services Team, fostering collaboration and effective communication across shifts.
Champion WH&S compliance, risk assessment, and safe work practices.
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed on time, to standard, and recorded accurately.
Experience
Minimum 5 years' maintenance experience.
Trade qualifications or equivalent in Metal Fabrication, Fitting & Turning, Mechanical, or similar.
Proven ability to coordinate outsourced specialist trades/contractors.
Skilled in operating powered and non-powered tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Team-oriented, with knowledge of general maintenance practices and procedures.
Desirable:
Forklift licence.
Basic welding skills (mild steel & stainless).
