About the Role

Join the team at TRAC (Tweed Regional Aquatic Centres - Murwillumbah, Kingscliff & Tweed Heads) as a Learn to Swim Instructor! Whether you're experienced or brand new to instructing, TRAC will provide full training and ongoing support. (please note it is a self-funded course)

This is the perfect role for:
- University students
- Parents returning to the workforce
- Teachers or Early Childhood Educators
- Support Workers
- Anyone great with kids, looking for a fun, flexible job, and of course, loves the water!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Teaching children water safety and swimming skills
• Running fun, structured lessons (full training provided!)
• Helping promote TRAC programs and community events
• Keeping kids safe and engaged in the pool
• Setting up and packing down your teaching area

Shifts & Flexibility:

• Casual hours across Monday to Saturday
• Shift times vary: morning (from 7am), mid-morning and afternoon (to 6:30pm)
• Workload can vary week to week - ideal for someone with flexibility
• You'll need your own transport to travel between the centres in Murwillumbah, Kingscliff, and Tweed Heads

What You Need to Bring:

• A friendly, energetic, and approachable attitude
• Passion for working with children
• NSW Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
• First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)

Bonus Points (but not essential):

• If you are already a qualified Learn to Swim Instructor with current industry certification
• Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics qualification
