We are currently seeking reliable Labourers and experienced Plant Operators who are interested in ongoing and upcoming opportunities with local councils across the Northern Rivers region.

This is a general Expression of Interest for candidates looking for consistent council work in waste, water, civil maintenance, parks & gardens and depot-based roles.

Available Roles May Include:

• General Labourers
• Multi-Purpose Labourers
• Waste & Transfer Station Labourers
• Plant Operators (Loader, Excavator, Forklift, Roller, etc.)
• Civil & Maintenance Support Roles

Assignments may be short-term, long-term or casual, depending on council needs.

What You'll Need

Entry-Level / Labouring Roles

• Construction Induction Certificate (White Card) - essential
• Ability to perform physical, hands-on work
• Strong safety awareness
• Reliable transport to and from council depots

Plant Operator / Skilled Roles

• Relevant plant tickets

• LL - Front End Loader
• LE - Excavator
• LF - Forklift
• HR Driver Licence

• Demonstrated operating experience
• White Card
• Appropriate driver's licence (Class C, HR highly regarded)
• Ability to work under limited direction in a council environment

• Reliability and punctuality
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Experience working in civil, waste, water or council environments (highly regarded)
• Commitment to workplace safety and environmental compliance
• Availability for early starts and depot-based work
