The Opportunity
P&J Harris & Sons is looking for a driven and practical HR Manager to join their team in Moree, NSW. This is a unique role where you'll combine strategic HR leadership with hands-on delivery across a diverse and seasonal workforce. You'll have the opportunity to modernise HR systems, enhance safety and compliance, and strengthen their culture as the business continues to grow.

The Role
As HR Manager, you will be a key strategic and operational partner to the leadership team, taking responsibility for:

  • Recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for a diverse workforce
  • HR compliance, policy development, and employee relations support
  • Workforce training, safety initiatives, and process improvements
  • Leveraging digital HR systems to streamline administration and enhance efficiency

What You Will Bring

  • Previous experience in HR generalist/manager roles
  • Knowledge of Australian industrial relations and Fair Work compliance
  • Experience supporting safety, RTW and workforce training
  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfort working independently in a sole HR role
  • Resilience, practical thinking and a passion for regional communities
  • Willingness to relocate to Moree and travel within the region, with a C Class driver's license.
