Leading Hand - Toowoomba Live Site Project

Step Up or Bring Your Experience | $42-$48/hr

📍 Toowoomba | Start in 1-2 Weeks | Approx. 2-Month Contract (may extend)

We are looking for a Leading Hand to join an upcoming commercial upgrade project in Toowoomba. This role is perfect for either:

• An experienced Leading Hand ready to manage day-to-day site operations, or
• A strong commercial labourer / trade assistant keen to step up into a leadership role

The project is within a live operational facility, so professionalism, organisation, and communication on site are essential.

Your Role

• Lead and coordinate trades on a day-to-day basis
• Maintain a safe, organised and compliant worksite
• Manage contractor sign-in / sign-out procedures
• Support project delivery and keep works on program
• Act as the on-site point of contact
• Report updates using iPad-based systems

This is a hands-on leadership role - you'll be actively involved while guiding the team.

What We're Looking For

• Solid experience in commercial construction
• Experience on live sites highly regarded
• Strong safety awareness and site organisation
• Good communication and ability to coordinate trades
• Reliable, proactive, professional approach
• Either proven Leading Hand experience or someone ready and keen to step up
