Step Up Into Site Leadership | Live Healthcare Project

Are you an experienced commercial labourer or trade assistant who knows how a live site runs - and ready to step up into a Leading Hand role?

We're delivering a short-term upgrade project within an operational aged care facility in Toowoomba and are looking for a confident, capable site operator ready to take the next step in their career.

This role would suit someone who:

• Has strong building & construction experience

• Has worked on active/live commercial sites

• Naturally takes initiative and keeps jobs moving

• Is ready for more responsibility and leadership exposure

The Project

Conversion of two existing sitting rooms into new bedrooms with en-suites inside a fully operational aged care facility.

This is a live environment - residents and staff remain on-site - so professionalism, organisation and communication are critical.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinating trades and keeping works on program

• Managing contractor sign-in / sign-out

• Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant site

• Acting as the on-site contact point

• Reporting updates via iPad

• Ensuring minimal disruption to residents and staff

This is a hands-on role - you won't just supervise, you'll be actively involved, ready to be on the tools when/if required.

What We're Looking For

• Solid commercial construction experience

• Experience on live sites (healthcare, aged care, education highly regarded)

• Strong understanding of site safety

• Ability to communicate confidently with trades and clients

• Organised, reliable and professional

• Comfortable using basic iPad reporting systems

Previous Leading Hand experience is highly regarded -
but we're equally open to someone ready to step up.
