We are currently seeking an Engineering Services Foreperson to join The Casino Food Company's Engineering Services Department. These leadership positions play a pivotal role in overseeing and supporting engineering teams across three large-scale processing plants, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.



About the Role

Reporting to the Engineering Services Management Team, the Foreperson will be responsible for leading daily operations, coordinating resources, and driving a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.



Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing engineering strategies that align with production goals and long-term business objectives.
  • Fostering a collaborative, positive, and safety-first workplace culture.
  • Ensuring engineering works meet quality standards and issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Promoting compliance and safety leadership within a dynamic environment.
  • Assisting with the development and review of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Leading regular toolbox and team meetings to maintain open communication.
  • Identifying training opportunities and supporting skill development across the team.
  • Managing minor grievances and escalating issues when required.



About You

We're looking for hands-on leaders who are confident managing people and priorities in a fast-paced industrial setting.



You'll bring:

  • Electrical trade qualifications and/or relevant industry experience (highly regarded).
  • A supportive, engaging leadership style that promotes teamwork and accountability.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across a diverse workforce.
  • Solid understanding of safety systems, policies, and compliance standards.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy and reporting capability.
  • A proactive, positive, and safety-conscious mindset.
