Job description
AgriFutures Australia is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Coordinator, evokeᴬᴳ. to join our dynamic Global Innovation Networks team.
Based in Wagga Wagga, this role contributes significantly to the planning and execution of Australia's premier agrifood innovation and technology event, evokeᴬᴳ. This is a part-time (3 days per week) 12 Month Limited Duration Contract.

About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, evokeᴬᴳ you will:
Provide high-level logistics, administration and project management support to the evokeᴬᴳ team.
Support speaker onboarding- managing contracts, collecting information, and updating online content.
Manage event registrations, stakeholder liaison, and other logistics in Eventbrite.
Manage accommodation requirements for all speakers, startups and staff.
Assist in organising key events such as Welcome Event, Culinary Capital Dinner, XFactor Breakfast and other sideline events.
Collaborate with the communications team to develop and share content across the evokeᴬᴳ website and social media channels.
Prepare agendas, minutes, and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholder meetings.
Maintain accurate stakeholder and partner records across all relevant platforms.
Support onsite event delivery (travel required).
Contribute to event reporting including registration stats, stakeholder engagement, survey results and KPIs.
About You
You're an efficient multitasker who thrives in a fast-moving environment.
You enjoy working in a collaborative team and bring a strong sense of initiative and ownership to your work.
You're passionate about events, communication/marketing, and helping bring people together to create real impact.
Skills and Experience
Mandatory:
Experience in event coordination, stakeholder engagement, project management or program administration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.
Experience using platforms like video conferencing tools, CRM systems, and online registration platforms.
Strong time management skills with an ability to meet competing deadlines.
High level of attention to detail.
Current driver's licence.
Desirable:
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
Familiarity with Eventbrite or similar event registration systems.
Experience working in or around agriculture, food systems or rural communities.
Tertiary qualifications in communications, event management, marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
