Essential:

• Tertiary qualifications in environmental engineering or environmental science science related field.
• Experience in the application of environmental management principles in the waste management industry.
• Knowledge and experience in managing legislative instruments such as licences, approvals and waste management planning and procurement.
• Experience in preparation and presentation of environmental compliance engineering reports.
• Current class C driver licence.
• Immunisation against Hepatitis A and B or a willingness to participate in an immunisation program.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of environmental legislation including Protection of Environment Operations Act 1997, Local Government Act and EPA Act.
• Knowledge and application of environmental management and or engineering techniques associated with landfill and transfer stations.
