A well‑established, Australian‑owned construction business is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join its project delivery team. With a strong pipeline of work across structural steel and commercial construction projects, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with Project Managers and play a key role in commercial project delivery.

This position suits someone who enjoys being close to the action - supporting projects from a commercial perspective, managing contracts and costs, and contributing to successful project outcomes.

The Role

As Contract Administrator, you will support the delivery of multiple construction projects by managing contractual and commercial processes, ensuring cost control, and maintaining clear, compliant project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing subcontract agreements and supporting project delivery
  • Tracking variations, progress claims and commercial milestones
  • Assisting with project cost control, forecasting and cash flow
  • Working closely with Project Managers and Finance on budget reporting
  • Liaising with subcontractors, consultants and internal stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate, compliant contract and project documentation

About You

You are organised, detail‑focused and commercially minded, with experience in construction or project‑based environments. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities and enjoy taking ownership of your work while contributing to a collaborative team.

Skills & Experience

  • Background in construction, engineering or commercial project environments
  • Understanding of contracts, cost control and project financials
  • Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills
  • Clear communicator who builds effective working relationships
