Contract Administrator

Job description

We're on the hunt for a Contract Administrator to join a national project delivery business with a strong footprint in the government, commercial and disaster recovery sectors. Based out of their Byron Bay office, this is a 100% office-based role, ideal for someone who thrives in a team-driven environment and enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish.

๐Ÿ’ผ The Role:

  • Support project teams across a range of construction and recovery programs
  • Liaise confidently with subcontractors, suppliers and clients
  • Assist with tendering, cost tracking, onboarding subcontractors, and validating claims/variations
  • Use your tech skills - particularly Excel and MS Project - to keep things running smoothly
  • Track project financials and reporting, keeping accuracy at the forefront

  • Byron Bay office
  • Team-focused, collaborative culture
  • 38-hour work week (standard business hours between 8am-5pm, flexibility around exact start/finish time)

๐Ÿ™Œ About You:

  • You've worked in construction and/or project administration
  • You're proactive, accurate, reliable - and you treat the business like it's your own
  • You're confident communicating with people at all levels - from subcontractors to senior stakeholders

Big plus if you have the following, not essential though!

  • Experience with local government or the disaster recovery sector
  • Bachelor of Construction Management
  • White Card (or willingness to get one)
