Council is seeking a skilled Civil Plumber (Pipe Layer) to assist in the construction, operation, and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure. This role involves the use of plant and machinery, delivering quality civil plumbing services that support the community and reflect Council's values of creativity, accessibility, respect, energy, and safety.

Details:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Hours: 6:30am - 3:40pm, 9-day fortnight

• Location: BSC Depot, Southern Cross Drive, Ballina

• Duration: Approx. 3 months

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant trade qualification

• Experience in construction, maintenance, and operation of civil infrastructure

• White Card (or willingness to obtain)

• Ability and willingness to work in confined spaces

• Hepatitis A & B immunisation (or willingness to participate in program)

• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Desirable:

• MR Driver Licence

• Confined Spaces Certificate & demonstrated experience

• Traffic Control Implementation ticket
