Our client is Kingston Resources Ltd, an ASX listed gold producer that is currently focusing on ongoing development of the Mineral Hill Gold Mine near Condobolin in NSW. Mineral Hill is preparing for a transition to underground mining and are seeking highly skilled and motivated mining professionals to join their team.
The Mine
Mineral Hill is fully owned by Kingston Resources Limited and located approx. 65 km from Condobolin, NSW. Mining gold, silver and copper, underground rehab has commenced in preparation for development kicking off in the next couple of months and production ore scheduled for early next year.
About the role
Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you will safely and efficiently carry out all aspects of development charge-up operations.
Key responsibilities
Safely and efficiently carry out all development charge-up operations
Handle, transport, and use explosives as per regulations
Prime, load, and detonate charges accurately
Conduct inspections and report hazards or misfires
Work closely with the underground team to meet production targets
Communicating across shifts and ensuring high-quality work
Leading by example in safety and environmental awareness
Keeping accurate records of activities in accordance with established standards
About you
Minimum 4 years of underground mining experience and previous experience in underground Charge Up roles
NSW Blasting Explosives Users Licence (BEUL)
Security Clearance (UHL) or ability to obtain
NSW Work Safely at Heights Certificate
Valid manual driver's licence
Solid communication skills
