Our client is a premier Australian automotive aftermarket and power transmission leader with a growing national footprint seeking a high-calibre Branch Manager to lead their Dubbo team.

The Role

As a key leader, you will drive branch growth by ensuring technical precision and outstanding customer service. You will hold full accountability for safety, staff development, and operational efficiency, ensuring all jobs meet the rigorous quality standards our client is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & HR: Manage the full employee lifecycle for a small team, including recruitment, inductions, performance reviews, and ongoing mentoring.
  2. Operations: Oversee daily workflows, job card allocation, stock control, and labour recovery to meet sales budgets.
  3. Safety & Quality: Promote a proactive safety culture, conduct risk assessments, and lead monthly toolbox meetings.
  4. Business Development: Maintain and grow the customer base, representing our client through site visits and CRM reporting.

Requirements:

  1. Background: A mechanical knowledge and aptitude is essential, with the ability to gain technical expertise across passenger and heavy vehicle drivetrains. A qualified trade background is preferred.
  2. Skills: Strong commercial acumen, proficiency in resource management, and a commitment to legislative compliance.
  3. Attributes: A flexible, "can-do" attitude with the ability to travel and attend meetings as required.
