30 – Northern Rivers Rail Trail

The Tweed section of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail (NRRT) was officially opened yesterday (March 1), providing locals and visitors with an avenue to discover and explore Bundjalung country and immerse themselves in the Northern Rivers flow.
A great repurpose of the project, that has recreated an asset for the community to get out and enjoy the outdoors and connect with local art, culture & food of the Northern Rivers towns and villages.
The newly-opened Tweed section is 24km but will eventually stretch 132km from Murwillumbah to Casino!
We can’t wait to check it out!
