The Service Technician, APAC based in Australia will have an important role in supporting the OPEX Group's expansion in the Asia-Pacific region (the "territory"). More specifically, will support relationships in Sydney, Australia with OPEX's partners, resellers, and customers, to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, and ongoing technical service and support. This key person will assist the OPEX Group in overseeing and maintaining all aspects of technical service and support (mechanical, electrical and software) within Australia to enable the OPEX Group's partners, resellers, and other
customers to use the products manufactured by OPEX Corporation to their full potential. SOund like the perfect role for you?
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess an A Grade Trade Electrical Qualification
- Five years of relevant experience as a service technician (or similar)
- Experience in Mechatronics (or related warehousing/engineering field)
- An understanding of software and software applications
- The ability and willingness to work irregular hours from time to time as necessary to handle peaks in workload
- The ability and willingness to undertake unplanned travel to customer sites from time to time in response to emergencies
- The ability and willingness to travel domestically throughout Australia, and from time to time, to other countries, including other APAC, Europe, and the United States to carry out your duties as well as to attend meetings and training.
