Looking to get stuck into a solid civil role with Council? We're chasing hands-on Civil Labourers with an HR licence who aren't afraid to jump out of the cab and get on the tools.

This is not just a driving role - we want someone who's happy to roll up their sleeves, grab a shovel, and be part of a hardworking civil crew delivering road and infrastructure projects across the Tweed.

About the Role

You'll be working across a range of civil works including road maintenance, drainage, and infrastructure projects, supporting both machine operators and trades on site.

• Start: ASAP
• Pay Rate: from $33.21 per hour
• Hours: Full-time | 9-day fortnight (every second Friday off)
• Depot: Murwillumbah / Tweed Heads

What You'll Be Doing

• General civil labouring - digging, shovelling, concreting, site clean-up
• Assisting with roadworks, drainage, and maintenance projects
• Operating hand and power tools
• Jumping in and out of trucks as required (HR driving + labouring)
• Supporting plant operators and trades on site
• Traffic control duties (if ticketed)
• Working safely and contributing to a strong team environment

What We're Looking For

• HR Driver's Licence - essential
• Proven civil or construction labouring experience
• Someone who is hands-on and not afraid of physical work
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
• Willingness to jump in wherever needed on site

Essential Requirements

• White Card (Construction Induction)
• HR Driver's Licence
• Minimum 6+ months civil/construction labouring experience
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks (medical, drug & alcohol, references)
• Full Australian working rights (no Working Holiday Visas)
